HOW LONG IS THE COURSE?
The onsite course at a training center is a one full day intensive course. Students will cover a good deal of information in segments and will take a basic competency test at the end of the course. Students who successfully pass the test will receive their certificate at the end of the day. There is a 98% pass rate. Students who do not pass the test, will have an opportunity for one-on-one remediation with an instructor to review sections of the course where applicable and take a re-take test.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This is a professional development course for anyone who will care for newborns and infants, both nannies, babysitters, baby nurses, inexperienced and experienced Infant Caregivers, Nannies, Au Pairs, HHA's, CNA's, Babysitters, Child Care Providers, Daycare Teachers, or anyone who will care for newborn infant babies personally or professionally as a Nanny for Infants, Newborn Care Specialist or Newborn Nanny (formerly known as a baby 'nurse'). Classes are held in English. This class is a specialized child care course and is not a medical class and will not prepare for work in a medical facility.

REQUIREMENTS? Must be at least 18 years of age, English Speaking, One form of photo ID (passport is acceptable)

HOW MUCH IS THE COURSE & CERTIFICATE? Newborn Care Specialist Course is $350 for online and $395 for onsite training in New York, NY. Other locations may vary. The fee includes booklet, certificate, etc.
