How much does the training and certification program cost?

We offer two certification pathways:

Online Program: $1697 (self-paced flexible program)
In-Person NYC Program: $1997 (live accelerated program)

Where can I work with this certification?

Graduates of this program have pursued opportunities such as: private work with families (day or overnight), agency placements, daycare/early childhood roles, and travel or international care. While opportunities vary by individual, this training equips you with the skills and certification to be considered for a wide range of professional roles in infant and family care. This is a non-medical, professional childcare certification used across the U.S. and beyond.

What will I receive?

Upon successful completion of course requirements and instructor review, you’ll be awarded:

Newborn Care Specialist Mastery Certification
Includes Baby Sleep Training, Breastfeeding Support ++
Infant CPR & Emergency Preparedness
Infant Toddler Specialist Certification (if added)

Certificates are issued onsite after testing for in person class or after instructor review and mailed to you for online students.

How long does the course program take?

Online Program: Complete in as little as a few days or take up to 4 weeks. Learn at your own pace, any time of day.
In-Person Program: An intensive weekend class from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM with hands-on learning and instructor-led support.

What are the requirements to register?

You must:

Be at least 18 years old+
Provide a valid photo ID (passport or government-issued)

No prior experience or degree is required.

Note: There’s no age limit to enroll, but students should be physically able to safely lift and care for a baby without assistance.

Is this training recognized nationally?

ICT Academy has trained thousands of students since 2008 and is recognized through The International Newborn Care Association (INCA), with professional affiliations in childcare and healthcare. Our instructors are highly credentialed leaders in the field, bringing decades of experience and a proven track record of training caregivers who have gone on to pursue rewarding opportunities.

Is CPR included in the training?

Yes. Infant CPR, choking and emergency response training is included in both the online and in-person programs.

Online students receive practice materials and complete CPR through an interactive video and testing.
In-person students participate in live CPR review during the workshop. Already CPR certified? Great—this acts as a focused refresher on infant care, which most students find boosts their confidence and readiness.

How do I access the course?

Online students receive login details and a mailed student kit with hands-on tools. You can complete lessons from any device — phone, tablet, or computer. A larger screen is recommended for the best learning experience.

Can I take this program if I’m outside the U.S.?

Yes. We’ve certified students across the globe, including Canada, Europe, the UK, and the Caribbean. International students outside of the U.S. and Canada may receive digital certificates and materials.

How often are classes offered?

Online: Enroll anytime and begin as soon as you receive your materials.
In-Person: Held a few times per year in NYC. Due to high demand and limited space, you must submit a form to be considered for an upcoming session.
